How can Iran promote domestic production of wind turbines & accessories?
In addition to the 20-year PPAs, the Iranian authority (SATBA) encourages domestic production of wind turbines and accessories by providing an additional 30% bonus if wind farms use Iranian turbines and components. Such a bonus could play an important role in promoting domestic R&D and production in the Iranian wind industry.
